I believe that every student can learn any subject given the proper resources. As a tutor, I want to help students learn the sciences, and I will do whatever I can help them be successful. I explain the core concepts of the subject I tutor to ensure that students have a fundamental understanding. I also provide a lot of practice problems, and I interject my own advice and interesting details to keep students engaged. My tutoring experience includes three years as a volunteer tutor and mentor, and internship for an elementary school, and tutoring on campus. I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain, which exposed me to working with people from other cultures. I went to Western Michigan University for a bachelor of arts in Spanish and a bachelor science is in biomedical sciences. I'm looking forward to attending medical school in the future. In my free time, I like to study languages, listen to music, go for runs, and cook.
