Education
Currently, I am a medical student at MSUCOM at the East Lansing campus. Previously, I completed my Bachelors in Medical Sciences at the University Of Western Ontario in Canada with an Honours designation and recognition on the Dean's Honour Roll. Apart from science, I've also taken several sociology, psychology and english courses throughout my college studies.
Experience
Throughout high school and college, I dedicated much of my time to helping other students as a peer tutor and as swimming instructor. During high school I worked as a certified swimming instructor for young children ages 4-12 and later as a science (biochemistry, chemistry, physiology) and social science (psychology) tutor for university students. Through out this time, I had the opportunity to work with students from all different backgrounds, ages and students with a wide range of different learning styles. I understand the importance of providing individualized, tailored academic support for students and I've seen the difference it can make! Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I'm excited to be able to continue it here in East Lansing.
