I ran track and cross country at Okemos High School and MSU, and am passionate about classical music, history, and science. I've been fortunate to have had opportunities to study all of these at Michigan State. I've deferred my graduate school plans due to COVID-19, and am looking for ways to stay engaged with schooling and study in the Okemos/East Lansing areas! My approach to tutoring and study assistance builds concrete study skills, self reliance, and justified self confidence. I believe this prepares students for long-term, meaningful success even beyond the scope of their tutoring goals. This is particularly relevant given the challenges of study as a result of school closures and the transition to online learning. I'm here to help students through their asynchronous learning time, or to develop a conventional tutoring plan that suits their goals. Whether you're looking for help with a test, making long-term study plans for college prep, or just want to touch up now and again, I'm here to help!
